Church & Nation Committee
The Church and Nation Committee of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria exists to serve the General Assembly by :
- considering all matters referred to it by the Assembly;
- keeping under critical surveillance contemporary trends, movements and controversial issues in public life;
- selecting such of these for special study, in the light of the Church's standards, for guidance to the Church as a whole;
- acquainting the Government, the Media and other relevant authorities of the Church's attitude and the revealed Will of God on such matters

In pursuit of this agenda, the Committee has:
- has published a range of books, booklets and pamphlets on ethical and bioethical issues
- makes submissions to public enquiries, politicians and Government as well as written for publication on marriage, family and pro life issues, religious freedom including the relationship between church and state, Islam, Climate Change. Evolution and Atheism, and other matters as occasion demands.
