The Code & General Administration Committee is a vital part of the church. Its task is to strengthen the framework that enables ministry of the gospel to take place. The Code Committee supplies the trellis for the vine to grow on.

Borrowing from another church’s vision statement (Presbyterian Church in America): we seek to cultivate peace, purity and progress of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria.

A Vision for Our Ministry:

The work of the Code & General Administration Committee, and that of the Clerk of Assembly, is a connectional ministry that joins us together as the Presbyterian Church of Victoria in carrying out the Great Commission by cultivating peace, purity, and progress of the church for the glory of God.

We serve:

• our churches
• our presbyteries
• the committees and boards
• the General Assembly

by providing the essential legal and administrative infrastructure as well as the necessary support services for the PCV to exist and minister as a connectional church.
